French Fries

French fries originated in Belgium and are considered a national treasure. Belgian fries are traditionally prepared using fresh potatoes cut into thick strips. They are cooked using a double-frying method: first fried at a lower temperature to cook the potato inside, then fried again at a higher temperature to achieve a crispy, golden exterior. This technique creates fries that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Belgian fries are typically served hot and enjoyed with a variety of sauces. Ingredients include fresh potatoes, frying oil, and salt. May contain traces of gluten depending on shared frying oil.
